It seems as if several companies have been taking advantage of the improving technology around 3D scanning and printing, to launch initiatives around printing out figures of people taken from 3D scans. The Dutch company HEMA today announced that they are launching a 3D scan and print lounge in their Stadshart store location. Prints will be priced starting from $80 (€59).
