Picture books are an awesome tool for a child's early development, but it's also a tool which is unavailable to those who are visually impaired. A Univ. of Colorado assistant professor named Tom Yeh is looking to change all this. He is 3D printing picture books for children, and is working on a software which will eventually allow parents to take a picture of any page of a picture book and turn it into a 3D printable model.
