The government of South Korea has unveiled a plan to turn their entire nation into a bunch of makers, via 3D printing technology. The government's initiative seeks to place a 3D printer in at least 50% of the country's school by 2017, and introduce 1.5 million business people to the technology. They want to make 3D printers as accessible as going to a coffee shop, and truly believe that such technology will lead them to more prosperous times. When will the United States, or European countries do the same? Should they or will the free market drive us that way anyhow?
