OwnFone Braille 3D Printed Phone For The Blind

This is another incredibly awesome use for 3D printing. The British company, OwnFone is now offering customizable braille phones. What's even more amazing is that the backs and fronts, of the phones, including the raised braille is all 3D printed. The phones are currently only available in the UK, however they have plans on expanding internationally, with the help of Kickstarter later this year. Update:
There are many companies which use 3D printing to prototype their product offerings, but precious few that actually use the technology on the manufacturing line. OwnFone, a London-based maker of specialty cell phones, actually 3D prints their product line in-house, and now a former Nokia executive, Nigel Litchfield, is on board with a financing effort aimed at expanding the company's markets.
