Difficulty scaling 3D scanned object in Inventor.

    Hello!

I am an occupational therapy graduate student and I am new to 3D printing. I use it to design/print adaptive equipment for persons with disabilities. I created a device out of thermoplastic and 3D scanned it with a scanner on campus--a Sense scanner I believe. I wanted to make a few edits in Inventor 18ed. before printing. However, the scaling is all wrong and I could use some help troubleshooting the issue. If anyone has experience editing a scanned object in Inventor, I'd love to hear how you did it.

    Thanks!

Nope - what format is the scan in ?
If you can get it as .stl then life gets a lot easier as you can use simpler software to edit and resize it.

It is an stl. I figured I would have to measure the thermoplastic piece and change the dimensions in Inventor. Is there another way to go about it?
