Creator Pro: Raft isn't printing properly

First post. I am generally pretty good with fixing any problems with my printers, but this one has me stumped. I have a few FlashForge Creator Pros and one of them is having issues. When I print a raft, the first two layers are perfect and then the third starts having problems halfway through (in the center of the print). I have tried different files and still no luck. The head starts printing bumpy lines and on the fourth layer. The head starts colliding and shredding the raft.
Note: Feed rate is normal and build plate is level. Fans are providing good air flow as far as I know.
Any thoughts?
