Christmas gift for my daughter.

Hello,

I'm researching a 3D printer for my daughter for Christmas. She works in the computer IT field, so I believe the software side of 3D printing will not be a issue for her. I don't want a full kit for her. She told us she wanted a 3D printer for Christmas, but didn't give any other information.
So the 2 printers I am looking at are;

1. Monoprice Maker Select V2.

2. Tevo Tornado.

These are in my price range. So what are the pro's and con's of these two? Is either one made in the USA?

I believe thwe tevo is an american company, But all the components will come from china for both machines.

Of the two I'd go for the tornado - no question. It's got a lot of very neat features, and much larger build volume
