I'm not saying issues can't be troubleshooted, just that it will be harder. There isn't really a way to tell what the issue is off the bat, you need to check everything. That being said, with a quality delta kit you wont have as many of the issues like diagonal rods not being the same or right length etc.

Don't get me wrong, I love the delta design, I'm even working on a grounded delta (google GUS Simpson, it's awesome). But there are compromises in terms of reliability and simplicity. There are tools out there to help calibrate deltas that aren't printing right but I haven't personally used them so I can't vouch for how well they work.

EDIT: For the record, I didn't design the GUS Simpson, but I am working on a redesign to hopefully make it more of a finished product.
