    Fortus 360 Issue

We have a Fortus 360 and when you go to do the start up calibrate it has a couple of issues. Sometimes when it goes to run the calibrate sequence the head will go around the table and then when it goes all the way to the right it will slam into the side. Sometimes you can rerun it and it will be fine. Other times you have to physically grab hold of the head and pull it out to the center of the table and re run the sequence and then its ok. Any ideas on that? The other issue is the tip wipes are not always lined up with the tips on the head. The tips on the head are usually to the left of the tip wipe station. What could be the cause of this and is there a way to fix it?

Likely the home sensor. Essentially the machines moves into a particular position until a sensor is tripped so it knows where the 0 location is. Sounds like your sensor isn't tripping (which would cause it to slam into the side as mentioned). A Fortus machine should be serviced by a qualified technician.
