The TU Delft Formula Student Team is one of the most successful teams in the history of the Formula SAE Student engineering competition, an annual multi-race event that challenges university students around the world to design, build and race a small Formula-style racecar. 3D printing has played a significant role in the success of the TU Delft team, who used the technology to create a steering wheel and interior component for their latest car design.
