Help finding the right 3D Printer

hey guys, so I am new to the forum and relatively new to 3D printing (I have made many models on the computer and have used a few different printers in the past but I want to get my own now) I am looking for a desktop 3D printer that has a good size printing field, high resolution (will be printing small and big items that have a good amt of detail on them) as for the type of material, I do not know a ton about that so pretty much anything. but if it has the capabilities of working with multiple material types even better so I can test them out. things with other cool features welcome too (saw some with laser etching, prob out of my price range but seem cool!).

is there one of these that is for under 1500$? I may be able to bump it up to 2000 if its something highly recommended.

    thanks and happy printing!

Today is the right day to buy one!
It is 11-11 sale on Aliexpress with big discounts, for example:

    Looks like a great machine.

I am using a Shining3D Einstart-S and it has been working fine with me. It is about 380$. It is single extruder and prints only PLA. It has I believe a 160mmx160mmx160mm print bed.

XYZprinting has a good deal today, buy 12 rolls of filament and you receive a free DaVinci 1.0 printer.
That is a decent printer with 7.8" cubed volume.
