Scientists from MIT and the Singapore University of Technology and Design have gotten in on the 4D printing game and even created their own method called microstereolithography. With this method, they are able to print structures that revert back to their original shape when subjected to heat—and within a matter of seconds. With their new endeavors in 4D technology, the researchers expect numerous areas to be impacted positively, from the health industry to even solar technology.
