Poland is now showing themselves as a country not just beginning to emerge as a forerunner in 3D printer manufacturing, but also in the understanding of what it takes to produce a truly superior 3D printed medical model—specifically in the area of 3D printed fetal heart models. As the MWU team came together to find solutions in producing better education models, they began a collaboration with both the GRID company and Rapid Crafting, both of Warsaw. The result was 40 3D printed fetal hearts, showing different conditions, as well as healthy hearts.
