PLA Filament popping out on Replicator 2

I am having an issue with the MakerBot Replicator 2. The PLA filament randomly pops out, like the extruder is not holding on to it. The filament loads properly, but then does not extrude once I run a program.
My table is level, and it seems as if I've tried everyting.
    Any help?

It has been a major concern about the quality and strength of the Replicator 2's extruder.

When you go to load the filament, does it extrude on it's own? When you start the load filament script, it should just start spiting out plastic. If it's not then the plastic is either loaded incorrectly, or there is a problem with the inner-workings of your extruder.

If it is a hardware problem, then the MakerCare Service Plan would get you a new extruder for free, but I don't know if you got that.

I would file a support ticket at http://www.makerbot.com/support/ and call the sales number at 347-334-6800 and ask them to connect you to the tech guys.
