Hanna, a Labrador retriever in Brazil, really lucked out. Not only does she have a fantastic owner who went to great lengths to see her health return to normal, she is also fortunate enough to live in Brazil—home to the team of ‘Animal Avengers,’ experienced in using 3D printing to help animals in need. The team, headed by Dr. Paulo Miamoto, worked to make Hanna a 3D printed, bionic tooth after she broke hers off while chewing on a bone. The tiny tooth was printed at the Renato Archer Information Technology Centre in Campinas and then the team worked diligently, making minute calculations to fit the tooth into place properly. Hanna is now thriving and eating again, and back to her happy self. Read more at 3DPrint.com: https://3dprint.com/141449/labrador-3d-printed-tooth/
