3D Topographic maps in the science classroom

I am very excited about using topographic map data to have my students make 3D models of various mountain ranges in the world. These instructions seem pretty easy, but I have yet to test them out. I have one question, do you know if once I create a file using Open Topography, can I import the file into Tinkercad to modify it? Thanks for any help!
