A MakerBot Innovation Center opened in Hong Kong recently at Polytechnic University. This Center will allow people to utilize all of MakerBot's 3D printing resources, which are especially relevant to today's STEAM education goals. Outfitted as a 3D printing hub, this Center, like the others, is run by using the proprietary MakerBot Innovation Center Management Platform. This is software linking Replicator 3D printers together, allowing for quick production of 3D prints, print queuing, and remote access. These Centers are especially important as we adapt STEAM education goals in K-12 education and on the college level, too.
