I would think that when you want to print something strong, there is no better object to test with than a baseball bat. That's just what this test is doing. A miniature baseball bat was 3D printed with a Stratasys Objet 300, and the results were quite remarkable. A man named Sam, Green is doing all the testing. He first swings it at a soft rubbery ball, then he swings it at an apple, and then a hard 3d printed ball. Last he swings it at some 1 inch thick drywall. The bat, even though extremely narrow near the middle, performed amazingly, and didn't show any dents or wear at all. Here is the video test:
