Kids in the UK have received the type of accolade one rarely receives—straight from space, messaged by Major Tim Peake straight from the International Space Station. After they 3D printed an innovative and colorful rocket cap for asthma inhalers, Peake took note—especially since they were inspired by the work he is doing from the ISS regarding the respiratory system. The kids, all of whom use 3D printing in combination with schoolwork at Holbrook Primary, are working toward achieving a special grant from the European Space Agency—and with that in mind, most of their projects of late have had a space theme.
