Makerbot replicator 2x stops printing Midway

Thanks for taking your time to answer. My Maker bot rep 2x stops midway through production and isn't clogged. Anyone know what is going on? And I know that the files I print are not messed up because I do the test printing and that won't work. (i.e. traffic cone)

This is usually related either to the flow rate being too high - and causing the extruder to start to slip, damaging the filament, or the filament becoming tangled on the reel.

Other things to check would be heat creep causing the filament to jam and any build up of filament in the gear.
