Like many other cities in the so-called "Rust Belt," Cleveland has suffered greatly from the decline of the manufacturing industry. However, the loss of traditional manufacturing jobs leaves a lot of room for new development - namely in 3D printing. Cleveland and neighboring Youngstown are poised to become leaders in 3D printing, thanks to an aggressive push from universities and business incubators to develop and foster new tech-based startups.
