The Aachen University of Applied Sciences is a big fan of German RepRap 3D printers, especially the PRotos V3 printer, which they have been using for years. Recently, Aachen held a 3D Printing Summer School at their partner university, Tshwane University of Technology (TUT). About 30 people attended the session, which took place over five days and gave its participants a thorough education in 3D printing and design, and even printer assembly. The participants, which included students and faculty from TUT, will go on to tutor their fellow students and colleagues in the technology. TUT also intends to build an additive manufacturing innovation center in the near future. Read more at 3DPrint.com: https://3dprint.com/131417/german-reprap-south-africa/
