    firmware

    Iv been building my first printer, its my own design, and have bought a Melzi Ardentissimo controller to run it. however I'm not entirely sure what i need to do to get it working, firmware etc, and get it working with slicing software. (I'm more of the hardware type than software type)
    if anyone could give me a fairly simple walkthrough walkthrough that would be great.
