The 3D printed YouBionic hand is now available for pre-order, after intensive time and effort spent in research and development for the electronic and robotic prosthetic which offers a complete and intuitive movement system. The design was made possible as the team studied—and emulated—muscular fibers. The end result is a 3D printed design controlled with an Arduino brain. It’s so finely tuned that the user can pick up items in a delicate manner without pressing or squeezing too hard—as in the case of a water bottle or something similar. The YouBionic hand is now available for pre-order at €1200 (around $1355 USD). Read more at 3DPrint.com: http://3dprint.com/126699/youbionic-...er-prosthetic/
