Why is Slic3r printing some parts 100% instead of honeycombed?

Heya, I'm new to the 3d community, and I'm using Repetier Host with Slic3r. I noticed that on some pieces, the larger sections get the 5 or 10% infill that I set it to, but on thinner areas it just prints them solid. Do the parts have to be a certain width for it to print at the set infill ratio, or do I need to tweak the settings? Or is there another slicer that I can use that will print everything at the infill ratio?

    Thanks!

I'm not sure if this is your issue, but look for the Slic3r "solid infill threshold area" setting that at least used to be under print settings | advanced. The comment for that field is "Force solid infill for regions having a smaller area less than the specified threshold". Something to experiment with, anyway.

I found the Solid Infill Threashold Area field, set at 70 mm squared. I'll have to play around with it and see for sure, but I bet you solved my exact question. Thanks!
