There’s no denying that Autodesk has been very busy following through on investments, further developing of projects, as well as making updates to current platforms like Spark and Ember. They are also investing in a new company, XJet, an Israeli-based company focused on launching the first metal 3D printer that uses inkjet printing technology and liquid metals for fabrication. They’ve also released formulation information for their new high speed resin for the Ember, along with making an Instructable showing users how to increase its speed up to 24 times. Autodesk is also releasing information about Project Escher, a new technology in FDM 3D printing which allows for numerous extruders to work on one model, increasing speed while still allowing for superior precision.
