PowerSpec Ultra 3D Nozzle Clogged
Whenever the nozzles on my PowerSpec Ultra 3D printer clogged, I can unclog them by loading filament into them. Last night was the first time that I was not able to unclog one of the nozzles by loading filament into it. Following the tutorial at http://www.instructables.com/id/Uncl...forge-Dreamer/ , I had to disassemble one of the extruders. How is it possible for PLA filament to get so clogged in the nozzle that I had to disassemble the extruder? Should I buy new nozzles shown at http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01...f_rd_i=desktop ?

sounds like you need to start buying different pla - and maybe upping the print temp a little.
I have experienced one single clog in 2 years. that was with the flashforge filament that came with the printer.
switched to better makes and never had another clog.

I have been using Polymaker PolyMax PLA filament and the extruder temperature is 210 degrees C. I think that the nozzle cooling fan can't cool the right nozzle because the fan is on the left side of the carriage where the extruders are mounted to.

I found out that it's possible to use guitar strings to unclog nozzles. Any suggestions on getting the right kind of guitar strings?

A lot of times it isn't the nozzle. Instead it is the PTFE liner with hardened filament stuck inside. In the future never unload filament, only load. When you unload it is very easy to get a melted blob of filament stuck or broken off in the liner.
If you ever want to upgrade to an all metal system. I have these available. http://store.wmdproducts.com/index.p...&product_id=59
