France-based GEMECOD has developed a 3D printed smart lock called the IKILOCK that was recently unveiled at CES 2016. This lock system allows you to open doors with your phone, even if you are not present, and it takes the home and business-based smart lock concept to the next level for consumers beyond the luxury hotel circuit. 3D printing and CNC machining allowed the company to test three different prototypes, cutting development time down by close to a year.
