Artist Eyal Gever has made his career on capturing sounds and movement as digital images and then turning them into beautiful, abstract 3D printed sculptures. Recently, he was approached by NASA partner Made In Space to become the first artist to ever create art in zero gravity. Gever settled on the idea of recording human laughter, creating a digital image of it, and sending it to the International Space Station, where it will be 3D printed and released into orbit. The project will crowdsourced, meaning that your laugh could be the one sent into space. Read more at 3DPrint.com: http://3dprint.com/119388/eyal-gever-made-in-space/
