In the Chemical Brothers' new music video, "Wide Open," a dancer gradually disappears and is replaced by 3D printed white mesh. It's a visually stunning video, and looks so flawless and natural that it's almost easy to forget the incredible amount of work that went into its production. In reality, the process required an exhaustive combination of 3D modeling, CGI, motion capture, and custom-developed software to create the video, which was, remarkably, filmed in one shot.
