On display today at CES 2016 Las Vegas is the modern JetPack--which may actually, finally answer the question of “where’s my jetpack?” Created by JetPack Aviation and Airwolf 3D, the JB-9 is composed of 3D printed components, using ABS, which allow for its lightweight and powerful design that still functions as a machine powerful enough to lift the user to 10,000 feet and move at 100 mph. So far, it has been able to stay in the air for up to ten minutes. Testing has been carried out in rural areas of California, and more refinements are forthcoming in terms of the engine and a parachute system.
