Angry HATCHBOX 1.75mm Silver ABS 3D Printer Filament

This is my first BAD experience with a filament right out of the box. This is stuff is worthless. This is what it looks like extruded, and yes the nozzle and tube are 100% clean.

What does it look like on a printed item?

    Hello all,
I started using this after my favorite silver (Solutech) disappeared for a while. I've been printing a bunch of it on Prntrbot Metal Simples and Makergear M2 and the prints are fine. No issues, prints looks great, no layer adhesion issues. A little bit harder to get initial stick to Buildtak, but a little gluestick fixes it up pretty easily (non-heated beds on simples.)

    My experience FWIW...

Sorry don't have any pictures, the items I've tried turned into a mangled mess. After cleaning the nozzle for the 3rd time I gave up, and went with another filament. It was just not worth my time anymore.

How common is defective filament out of the box?
