With Andy Bratton's innovative 3D printed Leash Lock, pet owners can look forward to some improvements that have been a long time in coming. Made with a 3D printed handle that encloses a Figure 9 rope tensioner and a 1/2" tape leash, the Leash Lock gives the user better control due to allowing for manual reeling in when necessary. Bratton provides an Instructable showing how to make this handy item that allows for much better adjustment and locking in. Bratton thinks this will alleviate a number of problems for pet owners using retractable leashes--mainly in reducing tangling and tripping.
