Earlier this year, an incredibly complex surgery was completed successfully with the help of 3D printing. Knatalye Hope and Adeline Faith Mata were conjoined twins before the surgery, which separated the girls, who were born in April of 2014. Surgeons were able to use 3D printed, color coded models to navigate through the 26-hour surgery, separating the girls, joined from their chests to pelvises.
