Da vinci extruder not heating up but different cause of problem

    Hi guys..

THe Da vinci Extruder is prone to not heat up because the connector to the heating element does not connect well. The problem is, this was not my fix.

I tried fixing the connector but no luck. It seems the motherboard is not sending electricity to my heating element. I then tried the following:

I found a 35w/12 v electricity source and connected the heating element externally... and voila it heated up... But of course. it heats up way too much as it is not regulated by the printer which tracks the temp.

Does anyone have any idea how I can fix this problem? Pleeeaassseeeee.... Thx a lot!

Did you check for voltage right out of the board? You may have a defective wire.
