Select 3D printing artists in Canada are about to receive a boost from a new grant, The Be3Dimensional Innovation Fund. Offering $50,000 to the two ‘inaugural recipient,’ the program is being sponsored by Ryerson University and 3D printing atelier, Think2Thing. Both organizations are headquartered in Toronto and have a strong focus on supporting groundbreaking new artists and innovators. The funds awarded to the recipients are meant to propel them on their way for finishing 3D printed works, which will on completion will be displayed at the Ryerson Image Centre and the National Gallery of Canada.
