It has happened to everybody at least once: you've been out on a windy, rainy day and your umbrella has lost the fight and collapsed into a limp, inverted mess. Cahay Ho and Kevin Truong, hailing from the particularly rain soaked city of Vancouver, weren't ready to accept this as the only option. Instead, they built upon their knowledge of automotive suspension systems to create an umbrella with an independent suspension system. They've tested their creation under some pretty extreme wind conditions and it holds up like a champion.
