The North Shore 3D Printing Club in North Andover, Massachusetts came up with a great 3D printed alternative to the traditional, carved Halloween pumpkin. 3DJack is a patchwork Jack-O-Lantern created by scanning a real version, converting the scan to a 3D model, slicing it into 50 pieces, and 3D printing them in multiple colors. 3DJack has to be assembled after printing but then he’s around year after year. Download the free .stl files on Thingiverse and skip the messy pumpkin carving this year. Check out more details at 3DPrint.com: http://3dprint.com/98842/3djack-jack-o-lantern/
