3D printed musical instruments are getting more common, with the recent release of the world's first 3D printed (electric) violin from 3Dvarius. And now, Russia's Unique-3D has 3D printed an acoustic violin, claiming its own creation, Sitall glass, was a key to the printing's success. The instrument that eventually became Europe's violin can be dated all the way back to 5000 BC in Sri Lanka. The instrument has traveled far, from early trade routes to international 3D printers. And it's certainly not done traveling yet! More details on this awesome violin can be found here: http://3dprint.com/94323/3d-printed-violin/
