Thailand recently held its first 3D printing innovation and design competition and the winners and finalists will have their work shown at the Bangkok Mini Maker Faire 2015. With strong support from the public/private sector, Thailand is making a push to find a seat at the 3D printing table. The winner of the contest submitted a series of lamps that draw inspiration from a masterpiece of Thai literature and provide a brilliant example of what happens when you combine the cutting edge technology of 3D printing with a wide array of experiences and knowledge.
