NY-based artist Marcy Milks is working on the creation of 20,000 3D printed sculptures. In a recent installation of a group of 300, titled Segment 151, she gave the public a taste of what that means. Each figure, printed in white nylon plastic, is unique and the effect of their multitude is that of a busy city street, filled with life. Closer examination of the figures reveals that each is involved in some form of non-traditionally-human evolution, ranging from the growth of horns to the truncation of limbs and the sprouting of tails.
