Australia-based cultivate3D, run by brothers Dan and Josh Herlihy, has unveiled The Beast. Their new large-format 3D printer allows for a build platform "large enough to print a child," with an impressive 470 x 435 x 690 mm envelope. In addition to large prints, The Beast offers the opportunity to produce several prints simultaneously thanks to synchronized printing capability with four extruders that can operate at once. Pricing and even more add-ons will be announced in the near future, and cultivate3D plans to launch The Beast via Kickstarter.
