Nice! I have to get off my butt and order some backup nozzles as I am doing a bunch of printing lately and want to try things like the wood and metal filaments as well.
Post pics of how it turns out.

That rules and is nice to hear. It seems many 3D printing companies go the extra mile.

That sounds great. Post pics when you have some prints. I have been thinking of TPU and some of the NinjaFlex stuff after I get used to some of the other materials.

I got the new 2016 model with 45 hours on it for under $400. It looks like it was sent back because the gantry is crooked. Probably hung on something. Easy to re-align.

Got to get to work and see if will actually print! Perfect machine for the Flexions.

Almost 40 hours and the big beasty is completed, pic is a tad out of focus. Nice job by the QIDI.
This guy is 147mm high which is almost the full high of the printer.

Holy beans W. You starting a printer farm out there? Congrats on the great eBay deal, and fingers crossed for you on getting it tweaked into printing shape.

Disregard the other response I was reading out of order.

I figured this was a pretty good gamble based on reviews and it turned out to be. Gantry was way out but yank the belt, curse at it, talk nice to it, let the dogs sniff it and back in business. Also it is the 2016 model which is good.

I figured worse case is I have a lot of parts but really that I could fix it and turn it over on eBay if I wanted. May think about that. A running one should bring a decent price and still be a good deal for someone.
