3D Printed M-200 Gun
A sniper's bullet leaves the barrel at three times the speed of sound and can take some eight seconds to reach a target 3,000 meters distant. Pretty fascinating stuff, so it's little wonder that a 3D printed version of a sniper weapon like the CheyTac M-200 would draw some attention. KingKongGourd, a member of our forums and a 3D designer, decided to 3D print his own version of the iconic weapon. It should be noted, of course, that this model is not operative but simply a model. Oh wow. I can't wait for him to share the STLs! I've always loved the M200! Ever since I first saw it I thought it was flat-out amazing looking and just wanted to have a model to hang on the wall...but even the cheapest airsoft version costs more than my printer! (The first airsoft model of it that came out a few years back was like $1500!!!) I like how it looks very sci-fi, yet not.
