As we all work to do our part in recycling, two Hackaday users are in the process of finding a way to start building 3D printers using parts from all those 2D printers left to die in landfills. Using a mixture of Python, FreeCad, slicing software, and more, the makers are able to create the framework for printing the 3D parts needed for the E-Waste 3D Printer as well as organizing the structure for building with recycled parts.
