This small 3D printed self-watering planter design released by Parallel Goods is perfect for extending the time between waterings for a small house plant or herb. The plant is placed in the basket which allows the roots to come into contact with water and absorb it as they need it. It not only ensures enough water but actually prevents over watering as well as the washing away of soil nutrients that can occur when water in poured over the soil. A larger version of this planter will be available soon through Parallel Goods, but they have released this small version on Thingiverse as part of their commitment to sharing good design.
