    Studio Ilio's 3D Printed Furniture

    Studio Ilio is making a point about all that we can do not only to recycle, but also that we can have fun while doing it, and re-use materials to create functional and aesthetic products like furniture. Using a process where wire is embedded into a container filled with silicon sand and used 3D printed materials in the form of nylon powder, the artists fuse everything together to form solids and make complex geometries in the form of stools and other ornamental items.     I wouldn't call this 3D printing. Its more off an electrolysis process, like electro-plating.

    Why is it that suddenly everything is 3D printing these days...
