Iron Man is obviously a much-loved, and much-reproduced, figure within the 3D printing community. The latest in Iron Man models is a great fully articulated model, designed by Tony Davis and available for download on Thingiverse. Davis has been working on his Killer Kommando minifigures, and wanted to scale them up, which requires the addition of joints that will work on a larger scale--Iron Man, featuring the MARK VI suit, is the first figure to be produced in this effort. The figure was designed using 123d Design, Fusion 360, Meshmixer, and Makerware to design this figure, and then printed out in 12 pieces on Davis' MakerBot Replicator 3D printer, with about 4 hours of print time.
