While 3D printed fashion isn't yet ubiquitous, cutting edge high-fashion looks are rolling off 3D printers around the world. Sarah O'Neill, a textile design student at National College of Art and Design in Dublin, Ireland, has created "3d Printed Modular Embellishments for Fashion" as a final project for a class. The intricately designed 'fashion add-ons' are 3D designed and printed tiny looped balls with elaborate figures and doodads in each, all secured to the fabric using laser cut acrylic.
