3D animator and future engineering student Daniel Fox decided to learn how to use his new XYZ DaVinci 2.0 3D printer by designing working automations from entirely 3D printed parts. His automata are based on examples that he found online, and used a complex group of gears, pulleys and levers to mimic the movement on a simple push up. You can find out more about Fox’s design and fabrication process of this 3D printed automata, and just what he may be up to next in the following article: http://3dprint.com/71314/3d-printed-automata
